Our client specialise in the design and manufacture of environmentally responsible rigid plastic packaging for food, beverage and industrial is looking for Sales Manager with experience in the packaging industry. Knowledge of Division products and product ranges. Understanding of ISO 9001 systems. This individual will hold a senior/ managerial position and will be responsible for getting new clientele locally and regionally. Establish a sales budget. Achieve sales budget. Ensure sales growth. Optimised machine utilisation. Managed costs. Budget proposal based on; Analysis of past sales and lost business (Base) and analysis of market opportunities and expected new business. Meet or exceed budget. Establish and maintain relationships. Addressed customer complaints. Manage pricing. Customer events. Visits in accordance with calling programme. All complaints responded to within 1 hour. Feedback loop closed to customer on progress/resolution within 24 hours. Feedback to customer in writing when complaint is resolved. Sell product at costed selling price and where this is not possible at a price agreed with the relevant Divisional Executive. Manage individual and team performance. Manage individual and team competence. Manage workplace climate. Performance agreement in place for current review period. Annual formal review conducted and documented on all employees. Individual development plans in place of all staff if relevant. Compliance with IR policies and procedures.
