Our client is seeking a skilled Panel Beater to join our vehicle workshop team in Mutare. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing the frame and bodywork of trucks to the required standards while ensuring strict compliance with safety and performance requirements. Applications are invited from suitable candidates who are willing to relocate to work in Mutare OR candidates who stays within Mutare.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication work on truck frames and body

   panels.

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.

• Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment in various

  positions.

• Maintain welding equipment and ensure optimal performance.

• Complete job cards and submit accurate reports for all work

   carried out.

• Monitor adherence to health and safety procedures, reporting

  incidents promptly.

• Maintain housekeeping standards in the workshop.

• Strong technical knowledge of welding and fabrication processes.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and measurements.

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

• Carry out any other related duties as assigned by management.

 

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 5 O Levels including Mathematics and English.

• Certificate in Fabrication/Welding Engineering.

• Journeyman’s Class 1 card in Boiler Making/Welding and

   Apprentice trained.

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in engineering or a related field.
