National Retail Manager

Our client, a leading supplier of high-quality agricultural inputs is seeking an experienced, results-driven, and dynamic leader to provide strategic leadership and oversight of their nationwide agri-retail operations.
 
Key Responsibilities
* Lead & manage retail operations across all branches nationwide.
* Develop, monitor and control branch budgets to achieve revenue & profitability targets.
* Ensure efficient utilization of resources and implementation of cost-control measures.
* Drive the execution of retail trading, branding, advertising and marketing initiatives.
* Monitor compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and recommend improvements.
* Conduct market analysis, pricing reviews and competitor assessments to maintain market competitiveness.
* Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction across all branches.
* Build & maintain strong relationships with suppliers, farmers’ organisations, government institutions, corporates, NGO’s and other stakeholders.
* Prepare and submit regular branch performance and management reports.
* Planning & organizing, Project management, resource management, financial & budget management, strategic thinking & analytical skills.
* Lead, coach, mentor and develop branch management teams.
* Promote quality management systems and ensure adherence to organizational standards and ISO9001:2015 requirements.
 
 
Qualifications & Experience
* First Degree in Business Management or a related field.
* Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
* At least 5 years’ relevant experience in retail management or a similar role.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior management position overseeing multiple locations and business units.
* Agronomic experience will be a distinct advantage.
