A multi-award-winning ICT consultancy and managed services firm with operations across the SADC region is seeking a disciplined and commercially minded finance professional to support its continued growth. The business delivers enterprise-grade cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure and managed IT solutions to a growing client base, and requires strong financial coordination to support control, reporting and regional execution. To lead disciplined financial operations across Zimbabwe and Zambia, ensuring strong controls, reliable reporting, sound working capital management, statutory compliance, and finance insight that supports growth.
Core Responsibilities
• Lead finance operations across Zimbabwe and Zambia operations
with consistent records, controls and reporting.
• Own monthly management accounts, reconciliations, cashflow
forecasting and working capital discipline across both entities.
• Manage debtors, creditors, banking, treasury and payment planning,
with clear visibility of exposures and collections.
• Coordinate statutory compliance, tax schedules and audit readiness
in both jurisdictions, with local advisers where required.
• Oversee payroll inputs, fixed assets, intercompany balances and
finance data integrity within ERP/accounting systems.
• Support management with budgeting, margin analysis, project
profitability and decision-support reporting.
Success Measures / KPIs
• Accurate and timely monthly management accounts and
reconciliations for both entities.
• Improved debtor collections, creditor discipline and cashflow
forecasting accuracy.
• Zero material compliance lapses in tax, payroll and statutory
submission processes.
• Clean audit trails, controlled intercompany balances and minimal
unreconciled items.
• Clear visibility of group profitability, project margins and cost drivers.
• Strong finance partnership to leadership, sales and operations across
both countries.
Preferred Profile
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent discipline.
• Professional Accounting Qualification an added advantage.
• At least 5 years in a finance or accounting role, preferably with multi-
entity exposure.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.
• High integrity, confidentiality, commercial awareness and strong
follow-through.
• Chartered Accountant added advantage
• HR experience added advantage
