Our client, a reputable company in the construction sector, is looking for Business Development / Marketing Officer to support the growth of our construction business. At least two years’ experience in business development, sales, or marketing. Experience within the construction, engineering or logistics sector will be an advantage but is not essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and implementing marketing strategies that enhance the company’s visibility and competitiveness in the market. This role is suited to someone with strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, practical environment.
 
Key responsibilities:
Develop and implement marketing and business development strategies aligned with company goals. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and tenders. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategy. Prepare proposals, presentations, and promotional materials. Manage digital marketing channels (social media, website, email campaigns). Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders. Support management in tracking leads, opportunities, and conversion rates. Coordinate marketing events, exhibitions, and client engagement activities. Provide regular reports on business development and marketing performance.
 
Minimum requirements:
A diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Development, Communications, or a related field. Strong knowledge of marketing principles and business development practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prepare accurate documents, proposals, and reports. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong drive to achieve results. Honest, professional, and respectful in communication. Adaptable and comfortable working in a practical, operational environment. Able to collaborate effectively with employees at all levels.
