Our client specialise in the design and manufacture of environmentally responsible rigid plastic packaging for food, beverage and industrial is looking for Asset Care Engineer with at least 1 to 2 years of technical competence in a manufacturing environment working on high-speed machinery. Experience in planning and scheduling maintenance activities. Reliability Centred Maintenance , driving compliance with lubrication, inspection and maintenance schedules. Maintaining accurate maintenance records, work orders and asset histories in SAP. Analysis of breakdown trends and implementation of corrective actions. Management of maintenance backlogs and prioritising critical equipment. Ensuring efficient inventory management -identifying and stocking of critical spares. Improving equipment reliability and reducing recurring failures.
Responsible for maintaining all machines and services. Set up preventative maintenance plans. Ensure effective planning for corrective maintenance items. Using own and team knowledge to generate work instructions. Using supplier and contractor knowledge to generate proper maintenance work instructions. Equipment reliability and uptime. Effective root-cause analysis. SAP work order completion and accuracy. Lubrication and inspection compliance. Asset care improvement projects. Zero stock-out of critical spares as per spares stock control sheet. Achieve deadlines for logged maintenance items. Communicate at all levels and keep relevant parties up to date on progress. Continuous improvements initiatives. Reduction in maintenance-related quality defects. Adhere to all maintenance related ISO documentation & procedures. Hold regular DRM records of improvement projects. Ensure that there’s proper traceability in place for maintenance. Maintenance staff to adhere to Food Safety policies. Make sure that all lubricants are food safe where required. The Asset Care Engineer is accountable for planning maintenance activities, ensuring their execution, and maintaining accurate maintenance records in SAP, thereby driving equipment reliability and preventing recurring maintenance failures.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree in Mech/Elec Engineering.
