Coding, AI & Software Development Teacher

We are looking for a Coding, AI & Software Development Teacher to deliver the curriculum to primary and secondary school students. The ideal candidate combines two areas of experience: Software development experience — you understand how applications are actually designed and built.  You should also be an active user of modern AI development tools and have personally used AI to build real working products. You should have personally used AI to develop at least 2–3 working software products or substantial projects. These could include: Web applications, Mobile applications, Games, Internal business tools, SaaS products, AI-powered applications and Personal or commercial software projects. You should be comfortable using AI as part of the software development process — for example, turning requirements into features, generating and understanding code, debugging problems, improving applications and iterating on a product. Teaching block-based coding. Helping students transition from blocks to more advanced software concepts. Teaching students how applications, APIs and databases work together. Helping students use AI to build applications and projects. Guiding students through debugging and problem-solving. Reviewing student projects and providing meaningful feedback. Helping students understand AI-generated code rather than simply accepting it. You should have experience teaching, training, mentoring or working with students. You should be able to take a concept such as a database, API, function. Explain concepts using simple examples. Support students who are struggling encourage experimentation. Experience teaching Computer Science, ICT or coding. Experience with Blockly or Scratch. JavaScript or TypeScript. React or another modern frontend framework, backend development, SQL/MySQL or another relational database. Experience integrating AI APIs into applications. Experience deploying web or mobile applications. A portfolio or GitHub. Practical software development experience. Personally built software applications or products. Used modern AI development tools to build at least 2–3 working products or substantial projects. Practical experience working with databases. Understanding of frontend/backend application architecture. Understanding of APIs. Understanding of core programming concepts. Familiarity with block-based programming or the ability to become proficient quickly. Strong understanding of modern generative AI tools. Teaching, training or mentoring experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Education or a related field.
