Our client, a reputable company in the construction sector, is looking for a reliable and organised Administration Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the business. At least one year of experience in an administration, office support or similar role The successful candidate will provide administrative support to management and project teams, maintain accurate records and help ensure that office and site-related information is properly coordinated. This role is suited to someone who is proactive, professional and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key responsibilities:
Provide general administrative support to management and project teams. Prepare, format and file correspondence, reports, quotations and other company documents. Maintain accurate electronic and physical records. Manage emails, telephone enquiries, appointments and meeting schedules. Record meeting minutes and follow up on assigned action items. Assist with maintaining employee, supplier, equipment and project records. Track invoices, delivery notes, purchase orders, fuel records and other operational documentation. Liaise professionally with employees, clients, suppliers and contractors. Assist with compiling weekly and monthly administrative reports. Monitor office supplies and coordinate routine office requirements. Maintain confidentiality when handling company, employee and client information. Perform any other reasonable administrative duties assigned by management.
Minimum requirements:.
A diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Office Management or a related field is preferred. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and general computer systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good organisational, filing and time-management skills. Ability to prepare accurate documents and maintain attention to detail. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Professional conduct and respect for confidentiality. Experience within the construction, engineering or logistics sector will be an advantage but is not essential.
