Our client, a leading supplier of high-quality seeds & agricultural inputs, is hiring a Crop Seed Operations & Sales Manager with at least 5-7 years relevant experience (3 years in senior role.) The position exist to enhance the marketing and sale of seed products in the most proficient manner that provides value to the shareholder and develop the company`s sales and marketing policies and strategies, and conduct research and development in a way that that will increase revenue through the development and maintaining of business on behalf of the organisation and develop a strategic marketing perspective which is based on the market expectations in order to meet company objectives. Farmers – supply with seed, organizing trainings and field days agronomy support and product backstopping. Customers – service delivery, query resolution, debt collection, relationship management , sales growth. Advertising companies, and media- implementation of marketing strategies. Assist the Chief executive officer in the formulation of long and short-term sales and marketing strategy plans in line with the broad company objectives. Provide divisional financial information required for the budget and ensures full involvement of the divisions team in the budget formulation process to ensure that all expected expenditures are well planned for. Prepare Operations and Sales budget preparation, approval, and review process in order to match stipulated budget against expenditure. Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of marketing’s activities. Conduct market research and analyse consumer feedback reports/ questionnaires to improve organisational efficiencies in terms of marketing. The incumbent will lead the management of media and the various stakeholders that impact on the operations of the company. Developing strategic initiatives on managing the media in a proactive manner so that the Company’s position is correctly reported on at all times. Participating in exhibitions and shows locally and regionally to manage the image of the organization and create awareness of the company products and services. Managing the events and entertainment in order to gain relationships with stakeholders and to bring positive visibility to the organisation.
 
Education: Degree in Marketing or equivalent. Corporate Membership to a relevant Professional Body is an added advantage.
