Our client in the retail, hardware and PPE is looking for Marketing Manager with at least 5-7 years of experience in marketing and brand management preferably in the FMCG or Retail sector preferred). Proven success in developing and implementing marketing campaigns, packaging projects and brand assets. Strong digital marketing expertise, including analytics, SEO, SEM and social media management. Experience working with cross-functional teams and external agencies. The Marketing Manager will lead the branding and marketing function and driving initiatives that strengthen market presence, increase sales and build long-term customer loyalty. This role combines strategic brand management with hands-on campaign. execution across digital, print, packaging and in-store platforms. The Marketing Manager works closely with the Sales Team, Procurement and key suppliers to deliver marketing initiatives that build brand equity, drive sales and enhance customer loyalty, while maintaining tight control of budgets and brand consistency. Oversee periodic brand audits to assess alignment, visibility, and customer perception. Update and communicate the Brand Manual quarterly or as required. Monitor competitor activities and market trends to ensure consistent positioning. Marketing strategy & campaigns. Develop and implement annual marketing plans, budgets and campaigns (including website and social media strategies). Design integrated campaigns across digital, print and events, tracking performance with KPIs and ROI metrics. Align marketing efforts with sales objectives to support revenue growth. Packaging & product presentation. Oversee packaging design and development to ensure brand alignment, customer appeal and compliance. Collaborate with suppliers and printers to deliver cost-effective, high-quality outputs. Drive packaging innovation, including seasonal updates and sustainability initiatives. Promotions & In-Store Marketing. Develop and distribute POS materials, catalogues and merchandising collateral. Partner with resellers and retail teams for consistent in-store brand execution and visibility. Plan and execute trade shows, activations and brand showcases to strengthen market presence. Ensure promotional displays are on-brand, timely and cost-effective. Collaborate with creative agencies and media partners to deliver impactful campaigns. Leverage AI-driven marketing engines and analytics platforms. Enhance campaign performance and optimise conversions. Personalise customer engagement through insights and segmentation. Identify emerging market opportunities using predictive modelling and sentiment analysis. Automate content generation to maximise ROI and strengthen competitive positioning. Budget & performance management. Prepare, track, and manage marketing budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness. Monitor campaign spending, vendor costs, and promotional allocations. Present monthly budget utilisation and variance reports. Evaluate ROI on all marketing activities and recommend optimisation measures. Deliver monthly marketing performance reports covering digital, brand, and campaign analytics. Track competitor and market activity, providing actionable recommendations to leadership. Present results and recommendations in mancom and sales meetings.
Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Branding, Communications, or related field.
